We encourage our clients to do as much as they can on their own in order to minimize legal fees. Some matters, such as uncontested divorces, are billed at a flat rate. Marilyn's negotiating skills result in settlement of an overwhelming majority of cases.

Our policy is to send drafts of correspondence to our clients prior to sending it to opposing attorneys so that you can make sure that we fully understood what you asked us to communicate on your behalf. We return our telephone calls.

You find a convenient private place, your spouse or partner does the same (each in a separate location). I will call you both and conduct a conference call mediation session. Documents are
emailed as attachments or sent by regular mail.

You save the time and money you would otherwise expend in driving to my office. As an attorney and mediator with over 25 years of experience, I will work diligently and efficiently to facilitate settlement. The legal Separation Agreement that I write will be reviewed by a separate attorney chosen by each of you, before you sign it. Hourly rates apply to the mediation sessions and there is a flat rate for drafting the Agreement.

My goal is to keep my clients out of court and to provide legal/mediation services in a professional, efficient manner.
